Midgrade gas was sold at the lowest price of $2.59 per gallon at one gas station in Taney County during the week ending Dec. 27, 2025, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, midgrade gas averaged $2.75 per gallon.
Taney County had seven of 38 reported gas stations offering midgrade gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas in Missouri was $2.87, down from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
