78.8% of Taney County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 55,854 citizens living in Taney County in 2021, 78.8% were old enough to vote, equating to 43,983 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 20,822 were male, constituting 47.3%, and 23,161 were female, making up 52.7%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Taney County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.3%.
