This photo was taken during a recent training at TCAD Station 1. Seen here, Paramedic Carliee Whorton, Lieutenant Nathan Rogers, and Western Taney County Fire Protection District Asst. Chief Bird (also a paramedic), train on resuscitation of a patient. In these scenarios providers interact with high-fidelity mannequins, which are controlled by an evaluator. The mannequins have their own vital signs, pulses, and lung sounds that providers can assess and interact with. These types of scenarios allow for realistic training to keep our providers prepared for all types of emergencies.
