The City of Branson announced on April 1 the promotion of Landery Gosserand to the role of building official within its Planning and Development Department.

Gosserand is known in the community for his previous work as a building inspector, where he interacted with contractors, developers, business owners, and residents during permitting and inspection processes. The city said he has earned a reputation for being approachable and solution-oriented.

In his new position, Gosserand will oversee the administration, enforcement, and interpretation of all adopted building codes for Branson. His responsibilities include supervising building inspections, plan reviews, permitting processes, and code compliance efforts to ensure public health and safety.

He will also lead the Building Services Division while working with other city departments as well as members of the public. The city stated that Gosserand’s collaborative approach has helped projects move forward efficiently while maintaining safety standards.

Gosserand said he looks forward to supporting Branson’s growth by assisting citizens through the building process and providing clear guidance. The City expressed confidence that he will continue to be a valuable resource for responsible development in Branson.
