The City of Branson will begin construction on a new entrance area at City Hall’s second-floor lobby next week, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance accessibility and security at the facility.

Starting Tuesday, December 16, the main public entrance will move temporarily to the first-floor entrance off Second Street. The second-floor entrance will be closed during this period. Visitors are advised to use the first-floor access point for both entry and exit. Signage will be posted throughout the building to assist guests in navigating these changes.

Water bill payments will now be accepted on the first floor, where the Finance Department will operate from the Records Office while construction is underway.

To assist residents with parking during this time, a map has been provided that outlines available options. There is 15-minute parking marked in orange for short visits and guest parking marked in red directly across from the Maddux Street entrance.

The city expressed appreciation for residents’ patience during these upgrades. “The City of Branson appreciates the community’s understanding as we make these upgrades that support both improved building security and a better customer experience at City Hall,” according to city officials.
