The City of Branson has opened applications for residents interested in joining several city boards and committees, including a position on the Tourism Community Enhancement District (TCED) Board of Directors. Applications are being accepted until Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
City officials describe board and committee service as an important way for citizens to participate in local government. These volunteer roles allow individuals to share their perspectives and contribute to decisions that affect the community.
Vacancies are currently available on the Board of Adjustment, Board of Appeals, Industrial Development Authority, Branson Hills CID, Branson Commerce Park CID, and the TCED Board.
The TCED Board is responsible for managing about $10 million in annual tourism tax revenue used for marketing and promoting the Branson/Lakes Area region. The board consists of seven volunteer directors who are appointed by the City of Branson along with representatives from Village of Indian Point and Taney and Stone Counties. Appointees serve three-year terms and should have experience with marketing strategies, fiscal management, and tourism trends.
To apply or find more information about these positions, residents can visit www.bransonmo.gov by selecting the “Boards & Committees” section or contact the City Clerk’s Office at 417-337-8522. Paper applications are also available at City Hall located at 110 W. Maddux Street, Suite 205.
“Serving on a board or committee is a meaningful way to help shape the future of Branson. These volunteer positions offer a unique opportunity for residents to engage with City government, contribute ideas, and help guide important decisions that impact our community,” according to city officials.
