The Branson Parks & Recreation Department announced on April 29 that registration is now open for its 2026 Summer Day Camp, which will be available to children ages 5 to 13 who have completed Kindergarten. The camp will run weekdays from May 26 through August 14 and offers a range of activities such as weekly field trips, swimming at the Branson AquaPlex, sports, arts and crafts.

The program aims to provide families in Branson with a flexible summer childcare option while school is out. Parents can choose to enroll their children for the entire twelve-week program, select specific weeks based on their needs, or register on an individual day basis if space allows. The camp operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., which may help working parents find reliable care during the summer months.

Campers will participate in both structured activities and free play throughout the week. The schedule for field trips and swimming sessions will be released closer to the start of summer. In addition, parents have the option each morning at check-in to purchase lunches and concession cards for their children.

Financial assistance may be available through the Skaggs Legacy Scholarship Program for those enrolling full-time campers in all five days per week. For more information about fees or registration details, families are encouraged to visit Branson Parks & Recreation online or call (417) 335-2368.
