The Branson Parks & Recreation Department has opened registration for its Youth Baseball and Softball Leagues, welcoming boys and girls ages 3 through 12. The leagues will take place at the Branson RecPlex Turf Fields.
The department is offering a Tiny Tot T-Ball League for children aged 3 and 4. This co-ed instructional program introduces basic t-ball skills and emphasizes teamwork. “Introduce your little one to the world of sports with Tiny Tot T-Ball, a co-ed instructional league designed for 3 & 4-year-olds. This fun and engaging program teaches basic t-ball skills while promoting teamwork and social interaction. Tuesday and Thursday leagues are available, each running from early April through May. The Tiny Tot T-ball registration deadline is March 27; register by Mar 14 to guarantee shirt size!” according to the announcement.
Older children, from ages 5 to 12, can join baseball or softball leagues divided into U6, U8, U10, and U12 divisions. Team registration is an option for U10 and U12 divisions, while younger age groups may register individually. “Branson Parks & Recreation also offers leagues for ages 5-12 with divisions in U6, U8, U10, and U12. These leagues focus on skill development, friendly competition, and fun. Team registration is available for U10 and U12 divisions, while individual registration is available for younger leagues. The registration deadline for U6 and U8 is March 11. The registration deadline for U10 and U12 is April 8,” the department stated.
