The City of Branson announced on April 23 that it is opening the application process to fill an upcoming vacancy on the Tourism Community Enhancement District (TCED) Board of Directors. Applications will be accepted until May 7 at 4:30 p.m., with the appointment set to fill a term expiring in September 2029.

The TCED Board oversees tourism tax revenues and guides marketing and promotional efforts, which play a key role in supporting Branson’s economy. The board helps position Branson as a leading destination for visitors nationwide.

“This is an important opportunity for individuals who are passionate about Branson and the continued success of our tourism industry,” said Larry Milton. “Board members are entrusted with helping guide decisions that impact our local economy and the visitor experience.”

Applicants are encouraged to have knowledge in marketing, tourism, finance, or related areas, along with a strong interest in serving the community. The TCED is a regional district that includes partners from multiple jurisdictions such as the City of Branson, Village of Indian Point, and parts of Taney and Stone counties. The seven-member board is appointed by local governing bodies.

Applications will be reviewed by the Board of Aldermen before making a final appointment. More information and application materials can be found on the City of Branson website or at the City Clerk’s Office located at 110 W. Maddux Street, Suite 205.
