The Branson AquaPlex announced on May 8 a full lineup of summer swim programs and community events, with registration now open for the Branson Waves Swim Team and swim lessons. The facility is preparing to welcome swimmers of all ages as the season officially begins on May 23.
The announcement highlights opportunities for families to build swimming skills, stay active, and enjoy aquatic activities throughout the summer. In addition to regular open swim hours, the AquaPlex will offer specialized programs such as Toddler Time for young children, Adult Lap Swim for fitness enthusiasts, and Sensory Swim designed for individuals with sensory processing disorders.
A special Water Safety Day will take place on May 22 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., featuring free swimming at the AquaPlex. Attendees can meet lifeguards, first responders, and local vendors to discuss water safety topics. “We will have free swim at the AquaPlex and opportunities to meet with our Lifeguard team as well as first responders and local vendors to talk about safety in and around the water,” organizers said.
Several community events are scheduled throughout the season. Free Swim Day is set for June 22 in partnership with Central Bank of Branson; admission fees will be waived in exchange for donations of non-perishable food items supporting local pantries. Night Swim is planned for July 24 with a DJ providing entertainment into the evening hours. The season concludes on Labor Day with Doggie Swim Day after regular open swim ends.
Families can also reserve private parties or rent pavilions during normal operating hours for birthday celebrations or other gatherings at the pool. Organizers said they look forward to welcoming guests this summer: “This season is full of reasons to dive in, and we can’t wait to welcome you.” For more information about schedules, pricing, or registration details, residents are encouraged to visit the Branson AquaPlex website.
